Communications Operations Law and policySkills
data analysis program & policy development health & safety assessments project planning communicationIn today's work environment, a balance of work and personal wellness is critical from both the personal and organizational perspective. The Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness (OHSW) graduate program provides a focused body of knowledge and skills for individuals interested in developing and building their knowledge and skills in occupational health, safety, and wellness.
In teams of 4-5, students from Conestoga College will connect with your organization with the purpose of performing a Health and Safety related consulting assignment or primary research project. The scope and nature of the project can vary widely but it should be related to the highest level critical thinking outcomes listed in the student's course outlines (critical analysis, assess pros and cons, develop a new program or process).
Learners
Report and Presentation: Students will submit a detailed report (10-12 pages) and present on the outcomes of the project and recommendations. This may include an updated policy document, the outline for a new program, or other deliverables as agreed upon.
